American Eagle Airlines, the regional air carrier of AA, will consolidate its offices into a headquarters in Irving, the airline and chamber officials said Wednesday.
“Irving was the ideal location for us to establish our headquarters because of its central location in North Texas, as well as the easy access it provides to DFW and other transportation options for our employees working at and visiting our headquarters,” American Eagle president and CEO Pedro Fábregas said in the carrier’s announcement. Our new headquarters is a modern and centrally located space that will allow us to continue improving the collaboration and communication between our teams, which will ultimately better serve our more than 14,000 employees working throughout our system,” he said.
The airline expects to locate more than 600 North Texas employees in the new offices, will lease two buildings on Regent Blvd., just south of Interstate 635 and north of the northeast section of DFW.
