AA Adds SWO..? Stillwater, Oklahoma?
American Airlines starting 8/23/16 is adding new SWO - DFW flights 2x daily utilizing a Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
FLT#3514 DFW 12:46pm – 2:01pm SWO
FLT#3531 DFW 8:11pm – 9:26pm SWO
FLT#3269 SWO 6:55am – 8:10am DFW
FLT#3514 SWO 2:35pm – 3:50pm DFW
SWO is 75mi from TUL and 68mi from OKC

As a lifelong Okla St person, I love this. It's been about 30 years since commercial service at SWO. Happy for the town and University to have it again.
Copy SKC. Will SWO be able to maintain Rev and pax? Will prices be competitive to TUL / OKC? The free parking is a plus. $50 - $75 price difference I would fly from SWO.

The thing is, I'm not sure they can sustain it once the introductory prices are long gone. MAYBE during the school year, most likely be fine during the fall with football season. Summer will be lean, although that was my favorite time to live in Stillwater. You have all the benefits of a college town, but with only 15% of the students.
It's going to be tough to keep good loads as OKC, TUL, and ICT are all within 2 hrs of SWO and all have WN service.
