    Default Chances?

Hi....shout out to any AA reservation employees here . I'm looking to get from Punta Cana (PUJ) to Miami on 21st Sep. Now I know it's a long way off, but was wondering if anyone knows what it's like to get out of PUJ on s/by, also can't believe how much tax I have to pay for the two of us, outrageous! the fare for both is £52 but another £129 in taxes, gulp! Anywho, any tips from AA guys would be appreciated.

Loads are usually lighter in general to/from the Caribbean between Sept-early nov due to school being back in session and the potential risk of hurricanes. That said, I think your chances should be good due to the decreased demand. Feel free to check back closer for load info. Assuming you are taking BA back to the UK, you might want to back yourself up on DL & B6 to jfk just in case but I think you should be ok. Just keep an eye out on the weather.

ISPpilot is on target with his weather warning. Hurricane season in the Caribbean is at it’s peak during September and October. Have a solid backup plan.

Do you anticipate any reduction of the LHR taxes/fees in the near future? hehe. Bet you can't get a better deal from any other airline! And I hope the weather is good for you. What resort did you book? I haven't been back for years so I'm pretty rusty regarding the best resorts now.
PS--you aren't one of those blokes who wear black socks w/their sandals, are you? <grin>
    Cheers!

lol, no I certainly don't wear black socks & sandals, mine are grey! Lol......I may be 55 but no socks! Touchy subject that tax lark!? I can't see the taxes coming down not even when we Brexit, which according to our government will be around Jan 2019.......we've decided on a place called NOW GARDEN in Punta Cana......we have several interline companies we use here for our all inclusive holidays, but I actually got it cheaper with Expedia! Also I can cancel for free right up to 3 days before departure. Nice!
