Default Escape Routes From HKG or SIN on/around Jul 27-28

I feel like I'm off to a flytrap in the HKG/SIN market this Saturday (7-21-12). While it is easy to get in, it's looking like it will be challenging to get out. So far I've ZEDs on AC/HKG-YVR, LH/SIN-FRA & UA/HKG-EWR. The ultimate destination is basically any gateway city in the US.

Are there any destinations/routes that might remain "wide open" should everything I've options for begins to cave in?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Sadly, CX is not available to US Air folks until they get some sort of ticketing problem ironed out.

    Suggestions?

On UA, both the ORD and EWR flights on both days have several seats each after nonrevs. SFO is about full. However, the good news is that those HKG flights get a lot of no-shows... they'll book about 20 past capacity or so. If you show up and take the first flight you can get on, you should be fine.

Hmmmm you are flying out of 2 hubs with no access to the "home" carrier. That's going to be tricky.

Any other asian airlines you can use? I would think your chances are higher out of HKG as HKG/TPE/NRT are the usual transit points for US/north america bound flights.

I'm not sure what your ticketing problem is but mine is that the E-tickets system are still not connected. So I'm still using paper for CX.

DL flies both routes--SIN via NRT and HKG/DTW nonstop. Are you wanting to depart on 21st for the States? If so, NRT is pretty bad on DL to all US gateways but HKG looks possible.
