Default ANZ to Start Flying to...Antarctica?

Air New Zealand is planning to operate a demonstration flight to the Pegasus ice runway near the McMurdo Station in Antarctica on October 5. ANZ will operate a Boeing 767-300 to the ice runway. If feasible, the airline will operate charter flights to the southern continent.

Charter flights... as in, not available for nonrevs. Disappointing

Maybe sometime in my lifetime I'll be able to fly to Antarctica. At one point I considered a 6-month job with Raytheon just so I could spend time there.
