Default Some NFL picks for today

Well well. Thanksgiving day, not only means good food but some good NFL games going on. Looking for that night game between Pittsburgh and Baltimore. None of those two teams look any good this year, definately not the teams of yesterday, but, it should be pretty well balanced. The defending champions Ravens have had their team virtually torn apart by a mass exodus after winning the super bowl last season, they are not the same team. Pittsburgh, started out 0-4 but they seem to be on track right now and are at 5-6, ravens sitting at the same? So I'm looking for a who knows what kind of score or who's going to win. I see the kickoff temperature tonight in Baltimore is predicted to be at below freezing at 30 degrees. COLD WEATHER GAME so I expect alot of running and the running backs plowing into the heavy linemen. If its the usual Pittsburgh Baltimore games, there will be some hard cruising for a bruising. Maybe that is why Baltimore wears PURPLE, to camoflouage the bruises. Does anyone watch ESPN FIRST TAKE wih Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless? They are great sports analyst with lots of laughable humour. Here is their "FIRST TAKE" theme tune at the beginning of the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7lqfHL5vlw

Hey how about that DENVER/NEW ENGLAND GAME last Sunday????? Losing 24 zip at half and they come back to beat Denver 34-31. I loved every minute of the second half. 7 total turnovers, with temperature at 22 degrees in Foxboro, they couldn't hang on to the ball. 4 turnovers for Denver to NE's 3. Denver was running the ball all day long against NE but Denver couldn't stop Brady's passing game. In the end, NE stopped Denver when they needed to, with a little help from Welker whom has a tendency to drop balls in crucial moments......

And how about RGIII and the Redskins? Not worth my time typing too much on the subject, but to get straight on with it, here is my take. RGIII is DONE! Nobody is saying it, but I think he's done as a quarterback. He sliced his bread and butter on the running and awesome sprinting and option plays, but when it comes to passing, HE STINKS. Can't find a target, overthrows, underthrows, and now with his jacked up knee, he will never be the same. End result, if I were Redskins, I would cut my loses and either get rid of him or bench him in favor of Cousins or Rex Grossman. Not to mention, the rest of the team STINKS to the level of EMBARRASSMENT. Just like the Houston Texans.

DDagencylv, thanks for that. I appreciate your comments. And Happy TG to all. Seems everyone is picking Steelers to beat out Ravens, and WHY NOT? They seem to be on a roll and if I were a betting man, Ravens haven't shown me much this year at under 500 percentage playing. I think this game will be for all of the marbles for at least some kind of playoff berth. Lose here and its a very long climb with luck involved. I gotta go with RAVENS at home, something like 20-14. Just maybe a hunch.
Lions did win. That pretty much rules out th GB Packers year I think. Lose Rogers and you're done. I like Dallas losing right now, just started though. Would like to see Philly slip in there but I think Dallas will take that division.

Well, well well. A typical brutal smash mouth hard hitting game between Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Did you see that guy's head roll in the end zone or was that his helmet? Scarey moment in the NFL, was relieved to see he didn't get killed. It could have been real bad. So not only were they cruising for a bruising but rather cruising for a concussion. 4 Steeler linemen all injured up. Everytime these two teams meet, physical PAIN is all you see.
Thinking back of all the years the Steelers in the 1970's played with Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, Jack Ham and the "Steel curtain" and all their reputation of being badasses for so long, there is a new bully on the block and they wear purple. And these men in purple are looking for a brawl. They will match with the steelers pass to pass, hit to hit, weather to weather as proven by the Ravens in this city of charm by the Chesapeake Bay on a cold November's night.
