Default skynet (employeeres) issues with IE 11

This might be more geared towards spongebue.

I cannot get onto skynet with IE11 (version 11.0.9600.17207), not sure when it updated (just looked, July 8th).

I am not sure if the issue started then or not. If I can make it to Employeeres I cannot select cities or dates.

Our company forums suggested to put ual.com and coair.com in the compatibility view settings-I had ual.com and added coair.com with no help.

this URL comes up when trying to get to skynet freezes
    https://dmznam-esp.ual.com....

that dmznam seems a little fishy.
Another reply said they did not think that dmznam-esp fishy, normal URL?

Maybe this and my issue with typing on Nonrev forums are related, I do not know.

I do not like change so using Chrome (like I am using now to type this) sucks. Its not using Chrome on specific websites, like nonrev.net, its just the different look and UI that I am not used to.

Its like recently having to change to Windows 7 for my email. I was used to outlook express, I still do not like the look (and UI) of windows live mail. Just need time to get used to it.

I generally avoid IE whenever possible, so I can't really speak about IE specifically. That said, I HAVE seen that dmznam-esp pop up before. Normal, as far as I'm concerned. Pretty sure the nam in there stands for "Novell Access Manager" which was used to manage accounts once upon a time. I think there are still some old remnants of that. Whatever it is, it IS a legitimate thing. ual.com is the "domain" in this case. Google.com, nonrev.net, skywest.com, etc are all domains. whenever you have something before that, like skynet.ual.com, that's the subdomain (that is, skynet is a subdomain of the domain ual.com). Usually you don't go too deep, and I'm not sure if there's a hard limit to this, but I believe even subdomains can have subdomains. But anyway, the owner of ual.com is the one that set up dmznam-esp under ual.com. I even had one created for a program my department uses to search through SHARES and Apollo source code, but that isn't accessible off the United company network.

As for the glitches, employeeres is honestly kind of buggy. I've noticed many stupid things that they have. If I were given a week to play around with it and fix whatever I'd find, I'd be a very happy man. Even if I couldn't make it 100% better. Sadly, I don't even know which department owns that site. Maybe clearing the cache would help? Otherwise, it could be a bug on their side, which will hopefully be fixed sooner than later.

Thanks Spongebue, I did try clearing cache and a few other things trying to fix the typing issue for this site.
Anyways, trying to work a little more with Chrome.
