Does anybody know much about this position? It would be in Atlanta. Does it take a while to be cleared for wrk after you get a job offer? DO I have to do another interview after the first interview? And is ready reserve on call or is it just like part time hours and you wrk the same days every week? Thanx!
I am a RR with Delta in PBI....The hiring for the RR positions is basically the same for the rest of Airport Customer Service positions...1 face to face interview is all that is done and if that goes well they send you for the drug test and start the 10yr background check...it took about a month for Peoplescout to get all the crap together for ATL so my local station manager could give me a start date...locally there is another lady that is trying to return and it is taking longer for her, because Peoplescout is doing alot of work with all the inflight applicants...
RR is not "on call" you do know your schedule in advance, and there are some RR's in ATL that work a few hours each week all year and then there are the ones who work 40hrs a week during the summer and off during the winter months since the max is 1300/yr that you can work...any questions just let me know...
Thanks for all the information! That was very helpful! Also, If I am ready reserve I know there is no benefits so if I wanted to take a few days off around NYE would I be able to or do I get no days off period?
Your days off are unpaid, but you can request days of like everyone...but just to warn you, around the holidays it is tough for anyone to get time off due to volume, especially in ATL...
Hey I start training as RR This monday and I was wondering since training is 3 weeks and 2 days do they start you off wrking the busy days or right after training or how does that work?
not sure how training at ATL is handled, at PBI we do RR training on the job, starting off with the Kiosk and basic customer service issues moving up to ticketing and more difficult international later on...you will learn that ACS KM (Airport Customer Service Knowledge Management) on DeltaNet will be your best friend, learn to navigate that and you will be able to do anything!!! Hello...I applied for a RR position in IAH about two months ago. I received a phone call from HR and did the phone interview. He instructed on what to do next online and said that I would receive a phone call to set up the face to face interview. It has been two months and still no phone call. I've called them 3 different times and they tell me that I am still being considered and will be contacted as soon as an appt is available. I asked if my file had "fallen between the cracks" and they assured me it had not. Is this normal procedure and should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do?
