Default ZED Fares on a Brasilian Airline as a Delta Airlines Spouse/Employee?

Currently we have ZERO agreements with a Brasilian National Carrier (TAM/AZUL/VARIG). Any chance we get one for the upcoming year? I fly to Brasil monthly to visit family and it would be so much better If we had an agreement to fly interline within Brasil. I heard we have a code sharing agreement with TAM and Azul but no Zed Fare agreements. What gives?! Anyone with any insight please post here. Thanks.

Hey I'm actually planning a trip to Rio and was looking at the same thing incase I get stuck and need to get to Sao Paulo.

Anyways, I like you saw that on TravelNet Delta doesn't have a Zed agreements with either of the Brazilian Airlines.

What is interesting is that if you go to GOL's website: Travel Agents

Then click on etkt interline agreements, It says on this page that we do have an agreement with them.

Best bet is to log onto delta term and try and book the flight or call the pass bureau

Kinda off topic, but what's the best way to go about getting a Brazilan Visa..... It seems each consulate has different rules, and unfortunately the consulate in Chicago requires a hotel reservation, or a written letter from a host... Any suggestions on getting around this.. Typically my friends and I go to countries and fly by the seats of our pants.

Copy your ID, employment letter, print DL travelnet itinerary (see note about multiple trips similar thread)
Take it all in person to embassy with correct $$ fee and application and pray they give you the extended one. I gave them a return post envelope and got ours back from DC 2 days later.

Excellent info, but what do u mean by employment letter.... the contract I signed when first hired. Also do u think I would be able to go to an embassy outside my jurisdiction.... D.C. would be easiest since my station has a direct flight.

Letter of employment verification--your super can give you one.
Call the DC embassy and ask--it's a piece of cake from DCA to embassy row, nice walk and a turn uphill and there you are--in the crowds with everyone else. Hop back on the Metro and poof--there you are--back home before you know it!
