Default WARNING!! AMS CDG VCE FCO to US

bad problems--cancels on AOLs are filling up DL flights and NO norevs are getting on for DAYS!
AMS had 158 NRSA zero boarded and not expected to get on w/out S2 unitl at least Friday
    CDG had 100 stranded
Alitalia must have X'd something yesterday--there are 50+ NR standbys on each flt and that's after accommodating 30-40 revs/HKs
Needless to say, I am NOT going to FCO (I can get on at JFK, no sweat) but getting back is stinky!! Boss has same rotation in 2 wks--hope it improves. If not, it's yard work and some shopping here at home.
I'm advising our OAL members already in Roma to go to Pisa or wait it out til Mon Tues.

Yikes, that sounds horrible. Non-reving to Europe in the summer for me is a big no no. September/October is around the corner flights should be much better by then.

I have not been watching BCN, just looked at it a couple times as a back up. But it wouldn't surprise me if its a mess, too.

I wonder if loosing that 777 for a few days and the A330 that the contract cleaners wiped out is having an effect. It isn't helping I'm sure.

    For me too.
Yep...cooler weather and no crowds are just around the corner.
I love Europe in the Fall.
