Default Buddy Passes and Flying Confirmed for Less

    I have two questions :

    1. I am about to issue a buddy pass for the first time ever, and am wondering if after it is issued if it can be modified ? i.e., the person travelling decides they want to stay an extra day in NYC after they get there. Is it possible to do that ? And if so, how does one go about making that change ?

    2. I keep hearing about "Fly confirmed for less". What is this ? Is it a good deal ? Where do you find it on travelnet ?

Thanks in advance for the help !! You guys ROCK !!!

    1) yes--you can change tkt online thru travelnet or they can call Delta and ask for re-issue for date change. It can also be modified by politley waiting in line and asking ever-so-nicely to have it changed by res agent. If there is destination change outside of 100 miles or outside multiple airport cities like JFK/LGA/EWR/HPN there is a $25 fee plus mileage/tax differences.
    2) Fly for less is on travelnet, far left tab, scroll down for interline, fly less, etc
Sometimes not good deal--compare w/delta.com fares first.
    3) you didn't ask, but if the buddy pass is current year pass, then you can even re-issue it to another buddy if one flakes out--fully refundable

PS--use THEIR credit card to pay for pass--if changes occur, they will be on their card.

    1) $25 change fee does not apply if the change is made on travelnet
    2) Fly for Less is confirmed travel at a discounted price but only for you and your pass riders (not buddies)
    3) buddy passes are fully refundable but once ticketed, i don't think you can change the passenger name
