    Default Traveling with child

As I understand it when traveling with a child under age 6 you as a standby cannot be on 1st class.
What happens if the back if full but open seats in 1st, do we not get on?

    Thanks.

That is correct, but I am sure they would move somebody else up to get you on...

V is correct--they will move rev pax forward to accommodate both of you, providing you are at the gate in time for agent to make that happen. You can be helpful if you notify the gate agent.
