    Default Nrt ngo mnl

I know it is early..lol..way early, but wondering how the loads are into and out of these airports during July? I can not imagine anyone wanting to go to Manila during that summer heat. Son is getting married..got to go.

Hard to predict on a day to day but many Asian college students take advantage of summer break to visit family back home. That and with kids off from school means generally flights will be full in the summer with families traveling. If it's for a wedding, I would look into buying a cheap ticket or giving yourself at least a week if not more in advance to get there if you go standby.

Thanks, Luckily I can take my good ole time since I will be stayinf in Atlanta 10 min from the airport for the summer. Usually the flight for mnl is fine, it is NRT that I really worry about.

    Think outside the box !
Why NRT unless you absolutely positively have to go thru that city ?
Think about going from MNL to SYD and then DL non-stop to LAX and
then any number of combinations to home (ATL).
Buy a cheap ticket SYD MNL SYD or check out possibility of a ZED fare.
Bypass any difficult travel points by going around them.

Not so easy for me. I am a lowely Buddy pass rider. I think the best I can do is have him book me with a couple connections, and than change my first try to ATL-NRT...but because I would have already over paid for the connections I can change it. Last year was better when there was the set charge and not by each connection.

I agree. A lot of Pinoy from LAX,SJC,SFO,LGB and LAS go home in the summer. Look at Cebu to buy a ticket on 1 leg(BKK) and nonrev the rest..

the scubabrideofchucky is back!! (hi again) another sequal~~
I'm sitting in NRT wondering which flight I might get on w/out using S2. Numbers looked really good last night. Plenty of PSUP crews and staff.
I'd listen to voices of reason and book LCC and don't attempt NRT. The lists this week or so have been HUGE. Can't imagine July. Buy a ticket. It's your baby boy! Now you'll have BrideofSeedofScubaBride!! Mommy must be there on time...

MRS..hope u make it home soon. Damn the ticket for July economy is like $2000. I figure I will start trying to get out a week or so before he even leaves Dubai. I know there are cheap flights from both Hong Kong and BNK, which would be the better to sit out a couple of days if I get there early..or buy ticket when I get there? And what route do I have my buddy list..obviousley not ATL NRT LOL

It is nice to have loyality to Delta but any chance your considering taking another air line perhaps with a cheaper fare.
Something to bear in mind the Passport and VISA requirements of any country you are transient thru getting A to B.
If you have bought the tickets already - perhaps a change of routing/plan (cost $100 ?) to something more realistic.

When I mentioned earlier "Think outside the box" here is a strange idea for you - - -
The world is round da- no thinking here - But from ATL fly East perhaps on DL or KLM as far as you can go and then
pickup Quantas for the last leg into MNL. Sure it maybe longer but time does not appear to be of essence here - just
    getting there for the event.
It is a shame that the service of Pan-Am is gone (round the world flights).
This internet thing keep your fingers on the keyboard google; yahoo; or whatever and use it to find the cheapest way
to get to MNL. I am sure you can get to London or Amsterdam easily or Paris for the initial leg. Buy your ticket from
one of those points to the next connection point be it in India or the Indo-China penisula.

Should get you and others thinking about travel around troublesome places.
