    Default Buddy pass priority

Does all Delta buddy pass riders battle by date of hire?

I mean between DL employee buddy passes and regional employee buddy passes, they all fly S4 but do not know if the system puts DL emp. bp before regional carrier bp.

    Thanks

There is no distinction between buddies for each airline. Strictly emp DOH. Our '87 buddies might be on the list w/EV, RS, OO etc. OALs will also show as S4 but are restricted to coach and after all buddies.

Thanks, that what I thought but needed to make sure as OO parents fly S4
Sucks that parents fly S4 instead of S3CR but the companies have their reasons.
Most likely due to higher priority on OO metal

Just an FYI, effective Dec 1st, all regional DL employees (retired and active) lost all of their buddy passes. From what I have heard, only mainline employees have buddy passes.

What is your affiliation w/DL? Comair employees' buddy passes ended in Nov. Maybe other regionals will chime in w/their BP options. There has been no memo on DLnet. Rumors can be dangerous. Please verify source.

Will be interesting to see if this is going to take place with DL Connection active employees. I am retired from EV and never had BP issued since I retired in 2009. Will see what shakes out.

Sorry, just saw your post. We are retired Comair employees. Received as our retirement/severance package all flight benefits, including buddy passes. We received a letter early November from Delta about the elimination of the buddy passes. I would have to relook at the letter to see if it effected all regionals (that are left or not). Will look for it and report back. Happy Holidays

I know we lost them at DGS but supervisors are considered regular DL employees with DL ID badges and DL flying privileges instead of DS so it could be the same with other regionals. Doesn't apply in this case though.
