    Default Basic info Questions

Hi All. I work for American but will have to zed on DL to get to Idaho Falls in a few weeks. My question is I am assuming DL does there priority based on DOH vs what we do which is based on check in time. We also put transfers ahead of local. Does DL do that? Also best way to view standby list other than being at the gate?

Welcome aboard J19. There’s a seat for you down front on the aisle and the lounge is straight back. The Forum has quite a few DL members, I’m sure they’ll get you up to speed, and even check the loads for you.
Always nice to see another AAer on the board.

    Hello fellow AAer,
I've traveled on DL on several occasions. The DL app is very helpful. Once you are checked in, you will get to see the standby list and how many seats are remaining. For whatever reason, as a nonrev I can never check in on the app but can do so on the website. I'm not sure if the standby list includes revenue standby/oversales or just nonrevs but it is of some use.

The DL members here are extremely helpful in providing load info but just like on NRTP, a green flight can turn bright red quick. On a few flights, I've even been seated in Comfort +, their version of Main Cabin Extra.

HI, jmcmillen19. I'm one of the DL folks here and I'll be happy to assist as needed when I see your post. In a pinch, you can send me a PM if no one has answered your plea. I might just be in some other country, goofin' around w/hubby (aka 'Boss') or family of travel freaks. Cheers!!

If you are based in SEA like your profile states then you will have to get to SLC (Delta), DEN (United) or OAK (Allegiant), right now you can purchase a ticket on Allegiant for $48 on specific dates--they only fly OAK to IDA on Sundays and Thursdays. Might be worth the little extra $$ for confirmed seat as long as you think you can get to OAK on AA (looks like you would have to go via PHX).
Will you ZED from SEA or get to SLC/DEN/OAK on AA then ZED?
Anyways, once it gets closer just ask for load information and someone will help. Above just gives options

Thank you all for your help! And if someone gets the chance to check no big deal if no one does 27th Dl 670 6am SEA-SLC connecting to DL4619 11am And if some could also check the 725 am DL1608 also to SLC and then DL4456 leaving slc at 155pm that would be fantastic. Once again thank you all for your help and information.

We need final city destination. SLC to where, please? Is that for Idaho Falls?

J19 I have to say your load request is one of most unworried I’ve seen. Talk about having a temperament to handle the uncertainties of non-re travel.
