Hi, I will be in Amsterdam for 4 days and wonder is it worth trying to go over to Paris for a day trip? If I caught the first flight out at 6am and left Paris around 6pm will I have enough time for a tour? Do you think it will be worth the trouble? Are there any day trips from Amsterdam that will be easier?

Its easily possible .. staff from the UK do day and weekend trips to Europe quite often ... you can get a 1 day travel pass for the Paris metro etc ( see

Whether it is worth it is a personal decision .. you need to plan on what you want to see and see if it will fit into the available time.
Do not forget that you will have to pay all the airport taxes both ways, which can add up, in addition to the cost of the ID90/ZED fare !!
Have you thought of routing home via Paris rather than Amsterdam saving the fare, taxes and time in one direction?
