Non-rev dress code on IB
A friend and I will be hiking the Camino de Santiago and will be taking IB from Santiago Spain to Madrid (if the non-rev gods are cooperating). Their dress code in our system still states business attire. Does anyone know if that is accurate? If so, are their specifications to sleeve length, pants or skirts, material, etc.?
We will be backpacking so I need to think about what I am non-reving back in that won't wrinkle and is light weight in my pack.
Thanks,
Tracy

It has been a couple of years but when I flew on IB, I was dressed in khaki pants and a polo shirt.
They were fine with that.

Not much info out there apart from - "Iberia reserves the right to deny boarding to all passengers whose conduct or dress could be considered inadequate."

A good place to look up dress code and other carrier policies is Find flight listing option at FlyZED | ID Travel | Airline employees. Unfortunatley, while IB has posted information there it does not say one way or another what their dress code is.

Last spring I non-reved on IB and was dressed "Business Casual". I had on cotton dress shirt and khakis, my shoes had a good shine. My kids were dressed a little more casually, but not shorts/t-shirt, either. Also, they weighed our carry on. I don't remember the max, but they will make you check it if it over weight even it passes the size requirements.
Good luck on the Camino. Remember to get your "pilgrim's passport" before you set out. Please post pics when you get back.

Very relaxed and very casual. No problem at all. But don't present yourself in swimsuit.
