I will do my best to avoid the SNCF strikes. I'm playing w/fire Tuesday, but MrsDanger could be my new login name. Plus, I'll be dodging the ATC strikes (not a first for me).
I think my fave Parisian 'catastrophe' was the horrible pollution--so bad that the mass transit was declared free passage for 2 days.
The big soccer thing is the only leverage the unions have and it's always a question of who caves first.

I don’t about “Mrs Danger”, but looking at the list of strikes
refineries - 1/3 of France’s gas stations have little or no fuel
and on Wednesday & Thursday rolling rail strikes; we may be calling you
“Mrs Walking Non-Rev” with “Tales From The Side Of The Road’.
Of course knowing you you’ll have a nice bottle of wine in your backpack.

    Good Luck

My train line will be immobilized by the strike @7pm Paris time. Luckily, mine leaves just before 2 (God willing). Very water-logged here. Traffic is mega-b-otchy. Happy to be going to Normandie, where the weather is usually less than desirable...

It's mega-gloomy for my last play day in Blainville sur Mer. When weather gets too nasty, we bake! Kids are in school and we're making gougeres avec fromage in the apt in Agon-Coutainville. Hoping for the best for my train tomorrow

When France hands M7 strikes and floods, she just keeps dancing and makes cheese puffs.
Fingers crossed the trip home goes smooth

BTW I saw where they’re relocating some of the artwork stored in the Louvre basement.

No idea what I'll encounter today! Musee D'Orsay has been closed, same issue of course. We're going to the see THE Dior Museum--he was born in Granville where my train is, so I get to see some amazing examples of the first haute couture. France has alot of stuff!! US vintage plane were doing some pre-D Day runs yesterday. Nice to have some locals say "Thank you" because we're Americans..
I apologize for inserting my trip report into this thread--I do that sometimes...forgive me!
