It's an exciting time to be looking for tickets for travel across the Atlantic as a number of European low-cost airlines are launching new routes across the ocean at very low prices. Just in time for summer and the relaxation of Europe travel restrictions.

This week, it is the inaugural flight of Icelandic airline PLAY from New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) to major EU hubs, such as Dublin, Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen and of course, Reykjavík in Iceland.

It will also be the very first time that New York Stewart airport will have used its new $37 million international arrivals and U.S. Customs expansion.

To celebrate the new route, ticket prices start from $99 to Iceland and $129 to other European destinations for travel between August 31 and November 16.
