Default LH non-rev dress code - jeans?

Hi all. Going to be (hopefully) non-rev LH AMS-MUC-LAX in a couple on months. I’m reading conflicting info on dress code. Some non-rev sites say jeans are ok (not ripped, no holes etc) and some say jeans aren’t acceptable.
I’m planning on wearing fitted black jeans (no rips, holes, not faded as they are new) and a knitted jumper, skechers trainers, dark blue.
Can anyone advise on if LH would accept this within their dress code? Thanks.

Hmmm just thinking about a 13/14 hour flight in fitted jeans.

We have some LH members see what I can do

Well I've heard from my LH contact and they suggest you go with khakis trousers instead of the jeans and a collared shirt. BTW, have you looked into compression socks. Revatron I have to say I'm really looking forward to your trip report

many thanks for the info and advice. Will have to go shopping, as my only non-jean trousers I own are chino style or full blown suit/formal.

Jeans no problem on LH, especially in Y. MyIDtravel should have the official dresscode for each class

Hey sorry it's taken me a while to reply. Chinos are great - no need to go shopping. As far as jeans go, someone else posted they were acceptable. I usually list business so I go for a slack-y type of pants (Lululemon/Athleta travel pants type). MyIDTravel says smart casual and per google jeans are smart casual, so I think you'll be fine, especially with the other post confirming.

So if jeans are "smart casual" what are ripped jeans called? And what does one wear with ripped jeans - because believe or not - I have ripped jeans.

Thank you for your input. MyID has actually changed the wording in the last week as it previously said ‘this does not include jeans’ but not it doesn’t mention jeans at all just ‘smart casual’. I’m going to risk jeans and smart, clean sneakers. Chinos means different shoes and I’m trying to go with just a small hand luggage so having two pair of shoes will hinder that.
