Hey, folks! Update--rude slap in the face--surprise--they're here....etc

TAX/FEE INCREASES

Friends just came back from AMS to find that the typical added fees for nonrev (which they usually suck out of our accounts, so one may not notice until some people actually faint on payday!)
used to be $15 + US $17 NOW (drumroll) $17+$14+$59+ US $17 ACK!!!! You do the math--I feel sick.
I planned to do a "flyin' fool" dinner trip w/hubby but NOT now!!
Others I noticed but not so obscene--
ICN has doubled to $30
EDI has gone full UK taxes (strangle me now, it's easier...)
BRU has gone from $16 to $30

So--word of warning--plan and check because your cheap trip could be a not-so-cheap-trick when you get home!

Far Better to have listed and lost, than to have never have listed at all.

When I went to AMS earlier this year, it cost me about $60 in coach.
I have the same flight benefits as you do.

The increased departure fees are new. My Comair friends were stunned because they typically route one or more connections thru AMS due to convenience and cost, but no longer! We pay nothing else for coach or business, so it's still a great deal but not for a dinner/overnight.
