A HKG passenger missed her flight and became an online sensation.

    Pax meltdown

If this is how she reacts to a missed connection, I would hate to see her response to lost luggage.

For fun, post pax meldowns you've witnessed

I was traveling MSY to LAX with a connection in DFW.
Because of a weather event (thunderstorms ) DFW was shut down. Thousands of passengers were stranded and AA had started to handout cots and blankets. Now most of the people took things in stride, after all, we all could hear and see the thunder and lighting. However, there was this one guy whose level of agitation seem to rise with each thunder clap. Eventually he broke, couldn't take it and launched into a tirade lambasting AA, the goverment, nicotine patches and refined sugar (yeah, it was kinda disjoined ) and promised a million dollar lawsuit.
And as I sat there eating my "take home" sugary sweet pralines and listening to this 4 minute outburst, it occurred to me, maybe giving him that third praline wasn't the best idea after all.

    Anybody else?

I was on QF94 late last year LAX-MEL and there was a guy about 19 or 20 years old seated 3 rows in front. He seemed very talkative with any woman he could find, and kept turning around and looking around all flight.

We got to near Melbourne and due to a fuel situation the capt announced we would divert to SYD to re-fuel and go back. Naturally i'm starting to worry i'm going have to pay another $70 to use my SYDMEL coupon (but this didn't occur). Meanwhile the kid flips it out, his arms are flying everywhere and he rushes down the aisle to the rear door. I thought he was going to try and jump! Flight attendants gave him a stern talking to, and that's the last we heard until we reached Sydney when he called everyone in his phone book and told them how he was "f***ing stuck in sydney as qantas sucks" etc... better than falling out of the sky, mate.

I dunno Nick--maybe we'd all be better off if he jumped? Maybe the "stern talking to" should have been "walk thru the exit astern?"

    Famous words -

Last winter during some NASTY storms, I got a call from a guy who *INSISTED* he had to be on the next flight - I mean, SCREAMING and throwing a temper tantrum in the APT -

Quote: "I'm SILVER ELITE! I DEMAND that you put me on that flight...

I could actually hear him stamping his feet...

    CARPE TRIPPEM -

Far Better to have listed and lost, than to have never have listed at all.

My favorite reply to "You cancelled MY flight!" during crazy weather days is (with a big smile and a voice sweet as pie) "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware we were operating any charter flights today! Please step to the back of the line and the next available agent will assist you with your rebooking."

I also love, "Can you transfer me to another airline?" and again, with a big smile, "Sir, I believe it is also snowing over American, Delta, and Northwest, so I'm pretty sure the weather is an issue for them as well."

Gotta love the crazy passengers we deal with on a daily basis...
