    Default US Buddy Pass Question

I have a friend that is going to let me use her buddy pass on US, but I want to know how exactly they work, I know that with AA you can constantly change your routings online. There is a direct flight that I would rather take from CLT-PDX but only 1 per day. If I can't get on that flight, can the routing be changed easily to take a connecting flight? I know I can ask her, but I don't really want to bug her with all my questions. Here I can trade knowledge, I am a former employee of AA and loved the way our non-rev was set up, I know how to navigate it to the best advantage, but need some help with US.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, US buddy passes can be adjusted to any routing between the same two cities. The gate agent or special services will be able to do it for you.

You can also call the 800 number. Your sponsor can give that to you. It's easier to do it at the airport, but agents don't always have a lot of time...
