Default Teriibles to Silver Sevens Casino name change

How about that. They changed the TERRIBLES CASINO name in Las Vegas to SILVER SEVENS. And they apparantly poured 7 million dollars in renovations there. I was planning on checking it out, maybe staying but the other half opted for our former location. Too bad. I have the t-shirt, but wanted a TERRIBLES CASINO ball cap. At the time, they didn't have the ball cap when I joined their affinity gaming card membership and figured I could get a ball cap another time, but it looks like this aint gonna happen. SHOOT! Though its cheaper to stay in that hotel, it is kind of off the beaten path a little bit, but I thought that is what makes it kind of neat. You can take a shuttle to the strip which is about a mile away or even walk there, but its hot right now. But then again the Golden Nugget isn't bad at all. Great location and great entertainment at night along Fremont street. But that 24 bucks per night at the former Terribles Casino sounds very attractive and not a bad place to be and a new apparant renovation. I'll have to scope it out. Maybe go inside with my TERRIBLES t-shirt in protest.

Looove the Golden Nugget. Only hotel in the Fremont area worth staying at, but it's also really nice at the same time. If only it were the price of the other places, though...

Yes, I'll miss that big neon cowboy. Kind of made the joint in a way. Looks cool on the t-shirt. Place looks good on the internet, the rooms overlooking the pool. GN sent me a flyer for a room at 37 bucks. Which is not bad at all. That's 13 bucks more per night than SILVER SEVEN'S but its in a much better local with more entertainment.

That $37 is better than the web special. *wink*

I have a Landry's card which gets me a free upgrade like it did last time, but will have to call to see if the 37 dollar rate applies along with the upgrade from Landry's.
