I will be in same situation in November. Please let me know how was your experience. I am flying DFW-->HKG on AA and then planning to connect on Cathy flight to India. Do you have to go to main lobby or can I get the boarding pass inside the airport? I will have around 2 hour connection time.

We didn't end up even making the ORD-HKG as it was cancelled while we were at the airport waiting on it. Sorry.
