Sorry to hear about the keyboard, but eightblack is one of the best writers! Try Peter Allison, safari guide's books--"Whatever you do, don't run" and "Whatever you do, don't look behind you". They are very similar writing styles--just wait until you get to the next and the next...his stuff is addictive!
