    Post Checked Luggage

I've googled this question and most of the replies were from a while back. So if I check a bag for an international itinerary could I have my bags sent all the way through my destination even if I don't make the flights?

I usually buy flight segments separately on mytravelid but if I do this would I have to buy the whole route? Also how would that work coming back through the States with customs? I recall having to recheck bags. But what if I didn't make that flight and I'm at another airport?

Or should I just curb my shopping and stick to carry on only...?

    Thanks guys

Absolutely Not . Security breach. The "load master" has a device to indicate if you cleared or not. Domestic is different.

Makes sense. Guess it'll be carry on only!

Yep used it going to CUN last year. Checked in at Dreams, Bell hop said, " We have a package for you." I said " I know, I've been tracking it". $60 - 50lb bag.

Mig, that's a good idea. I'd have to look into that! I'm just afraid it'll be more trouble than what it's worth...

Did you ship just a box? Or the luggage itself? How long did it take?

Did you make arrangements for the luggage to come back home in the states or did you stop by the fedex in Cancun?
