    Default Rookie from MCO

    Hey guys/gals

I'm currently a CSA agent with Spirit airlines at MCO i've been with the company going on 2 years now. I have always had a fascination with the airline industry since I was young(er) and I wish I would pursued a career in it years ago but you have to start somewhere I guess
Currently i'm trying to get hired with a little more of a "reputable airline" like WN or B6. Don't get me wrong I think our airline is great it just does not
seem like a long term career that I want to pursue. So if anyone wants hit me up and chat i'm always open for a convo. BTW just a little poll, so like I said i'm currently looking into getting with another airline and recently DL has contacted me and want to an face to face interview for a CSA ready reserve position. The problem is, it's RR but on the other hand i'm only working PT for NK with a very slim chance of ever going to full time
as our airline has pretty much barred all CSA fulltime positions at our station.

Look forward to hearing from ya

Welcome aboard Greyham, there's a seat for you right down front.

I'd stick with DL for a future, as opposed to Spirit. My husband, AKA Boss when I post was in the right place at the right time. He's soon to get his 25 yr pin and retire in 5 yrs at 60. Bennies are great, too.

Yes, definitely go for DL! I'm working part-time with low hours right now, and am looking for programming jobs with an airline now that I graduated (for those that have been here a while, it will probably be another saga on its own). I'm from MSP originally, and if I could get a job with DL in their corporate offices out there, I'd hold on to it and never let go. DL has a huge variety of destinations (though I think UA will take the #1 spot once the merger goes through, or at least come very close) and some amazing flight benefits - free F if space is there. Definitely a step up from what Spirit will ever be with its Department of Transportation Unintended Consequences fee

Go for AA. They got a grand future. That is, working for whom they outsource to.
