My son & I are thinking of comming tp PHX on Mar 9 & Dept Mar 10. We.ve never been there. Any sugguestions on a hotel with good interline rates also car rental & what we could see in such a short time.....All help is appericated & thanks in advance.................

The best deal we got for a rental car in PHX in January was Dollar, on a internet rate. Avis was not bad with the USAirways discount from the US hub website. Dollar is off property and Avis is on, if you are strapped for time I would go with Avis.
Can't tell you about hotels as we stayed with Friends in Chandler.
The hotel I would recommend is the Wyndham Buttes. It isn't far from the airport and is fairly centrally located. In only a 2 day period, you can't fit much in but consider a spring training game. You'll get to see those teams that don't come to Florida!If you like baseball, you can take a tour of the Bank One Ballpark and if not, there are many museums.
I generally rent my cars from Avis because we get great rates with our Alaska discount.
