I wanted to make a run to DCA but boy did they get into a deep freeze. Like 12 degrees and 6-10 inches of snow in various areas. Low teens in March and even lower in certain suburbs. Add the wind too. I had forgotten how cold it can be in my neck of the woods. No wonder I can't stand the heat here in Texas. Over here its been a bit of a different story. Lots of cold fronts, then warms up for a couple of days and suddenly BAM, here comes another frigid cold front. It's been that way all winter long. You can't get used to cold here. The changes are sudden and very drastic.

I met my husband on Sat to go to EDI the next day--by midnight, they'd canceled his flight (due out 10pm Sun) and I got out that morning--he got stuck sitting for 6 hr until release but came home late the next day. When did you get out Jumper?

Well I'm in Vegas for the week-end. It's in the 60's and sunny. On my way to a breakfast buffet that overlooks the pool.
    Thinking of you.
