    Default San Fransisco airport hotel?

So we made it to Maui w/out needing a hotel in LAX (thanks for all the recommendations though!). We're leaving in a few hours and it looks like we might need a hotel in San Fransisco tonight before continuing across the U.S. Any recommendations for an affordable airport hotel? It seems much more expensive than LA, but it's our best shot at getting back home (and I really want to get some sleep since unfortunately I can't sleep on the plane). TIA!

Hotels all over Burlingame area, real close to airport of all kinds of prices. Airline discount should work well, also AAA.

CitiGarden is pretty good, airline discount. Nothing fancy, but safe and clean. Shuttle to airport.

I think it varies by date, and if there's something going on in town.

I just go to the board with the phone downstairs and start dialing asking if there is an airline discount. Of course, normally, I just sleep in the airport. Sleepinginairports.net is my friend. Of course, if you can't sleep on a plane, I doubt you'd get any sleep sleeping in an airport.

You can sleep in a hard chair with fixed armrests, with floor polishers and unattended bag announcements every few minutes- sure you’re not a mechanic?

Cool site. It figures that Europe has the best airports for lounging around. They really got their act together over there.
