As a common-use lounge, the public can use the facility for a $45 fee plus tax without requiring membership in certain airline programs. Those who pre-book online at www.escapelounges.com can get $5 off. American Express Platinum Card members can use the facility for free.

The Escape Lounge adds another amenity for passengers flying from Reno, said Marily Mora, president and CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

“(It) allows us to offer our passengers a high-level customer service experience that is open to everyone,” Mora said.
Offerings in the lounge include a selection of dishes with “regional flavors” from a local chef, Mora said. MAG USA did not confirm the identity of the local chef when asked by the Reno Gazette-Journal.
"At this time, MAG USA confirms they will be partnering with a local chef similar to the local chef partnerships at other U.S. Escape Lounge locations," a spokewoman said.
Its complimentary bar will include products from well-known brands as well as locally sourced wines, spirits and craft beers. The lounge also features several power outlets and high-speed WiFi for folks who want to use their smartphones or laptops to browse, engage in social media or do work.
The first-ever passenger lounge at the Reno airport, the Escape Lounge’s design will feature a look that is reminiscent of Tahoe, airport officials said. The facility will be located at the connector between the B and C concourses, just past the airport’s security checkpoint.
The lounge is the latest addition to the airport, which has seen a major remodeling effort as well as a $63 million investment in security screening and its baggage belt system. The airport also reported its first passenger growth in a decade in 2015 after serving 3.43 million passengers, an increase of 3.9 percent.
