How close have you 'cut it', especially as they don't hold the door for US! I was very close to fining out how good the local hotels were in 40 below weather!

On my last trip out, I found out that I can do the four terminal dash in 20 minutes, bag and all when my connection from HPN to MSP was very very late....

Granted, by the time I got to the gate (with only about 10 minutes to door close) all I could do was hold up my ID and gasp one word - "Home"...

My most recent trip I made a tight connection from about the 2nd or 3rd from end gate of concourse A(from BWI) to gate T1(to MCO) in ATL. I had 15 minutes from leaving arriving aircraft untill departure time of next flight. I'm not sure if I beat the 10 minute mark or not, but I was the last on, sweaty and panting, but I made it.

My personal best was arriving about 3/4 up concourse B(from BWI), and departing c35ish(to EYW). I stepped off the first aircraft, checked the time, sat down in the next aircraft, checked the time, 7 minutes had elapsed.

I do the overwhelming majority of my traveling with just a backpack, it's much easier to cut and slice through the crowds in ATL without a rollaboard tagging behind.

EDIT- Almost forgot, my first time nonreving to GPT, the flight cxld, I dashed from D something to T1 or 2 for the last flight to MSY. Had to use an S2, got the 2nd or 3rd from last seat. Middle seat, between a large woman and a musky man, first flight on a 738 though, and(knock on wood) so far my only middle seat, although any seat in a CRJ is comparable to a middle seat.

Me: "Did I make it"
Gate agent: "I just closed the door" *walks to counter* "I'll roll you over"
+5 minutes
Mom with baby in stroller arrives: "Did we miss the flight?"
Gate agent: "Let me see, maybe we can open her up"

Try making a 17 minute connection in PHL from the F Terminal to A Terminal on an INTL FLT...Yuck!

1552 Flight Arrives at Gate, First Off
1555 Get Carry on Bag, sprint to the Shuttle Bus from F to A
1607 Arrive at Terminal A, sprint to the gate while texting to a friend...find out the flight was delayed from 1615 to 1625 for Weight & Balance on Cargo
1614 Arrive at the Gate holding up my id and passport and said "Damn Mesa"
