    Default It's Coming------PI Day!!!

    This Is Historical---3.14.15
What will YOU do to celebrate?
I was thinking a pizza w/PIne nuts, raspberry tart w/a sphere of ice cream or PIneapple?
maybe at 9:26 I could serve quiche, rosti potatoes and a cantaloupe half filled w/fresh fruit.

Well I’m a stickler for tradition, so I’m going with pie, probably apple, although I’m not quite sure as the pi-sibilities are endless.

And with that I’ll get my hat.

I was bored in my 8th grade math class. My teacher had a poster along the front of the room with pi.

I would remember more if it weren't for the overhead projector screen covering up the rest.

I can't figure out why it's written 14Mar2016 over there (how I write my checks) and US writes Mar 14, 2016, when numerically it's written your weird way. It's logical to say "today is the fourteenth". Spock would concur; illogical to speak today is the third month and 14 days. It's those darned words--messes up everyone!
C'mon, we ALL know there are only 12 months, not like Obama and his 57 States HAHAHAHA
Hey, try foreign visas where they want 2 digit year FIRST!! ARGHHHHHHHH

I’ll go along with M7 and admit the dd/mm/yyyy format is easier more efficient, "logical", but then again so is US spelling - really Paul, British spelling uses a lot of extra U’s.

Maybe that's the Norman influence? Do me a favour and colour me jaded. My family crest is descended from William de Warren and I'm off to Normandy to learn a wee bit more history. Perhaps we shouldn't be so Hastings. Can't wait to ask for serviettes and watch mums put nappies in the bins. Thank God the French don't drive on the WRONG SIDE!! (apologies to Mig--I don't have a hat...)
And when it comes to PI Day--only the Brits use potahtoes for a pie crust (and it has MEAT--not fruit)...
Hope you have a sense of humour, BritSky!

Exactly, there’s no need for that extra “I“. And M7(MS Kentucky) I’m thinking you got a couple of Derby hats buried somewhere in your closet. One thing for sure, a Kentucky girl would never wear a beret.
