    Lightbulb Dual boarding!

DL is testing dual boarding, using for the moment two neighboring gates. The test is being done at CVG. Of course we all know dual boarding isn't "new" or "unusual", but putting that aside-

What do you think of dual boarding?

As for me, as one that has endured packed mobile lounges and ramp stairs in the pouring rain. I'll just say I LOVE a nice jet bridge.

I think it sounds complicated and people will be confused but it might clear up some of the crowd at the gate.

Oh I think that ship has sailed , as long as airlines charge for luggage there'll be jockeying for position at the gate and with the keying of the mic - it's off to the races.

BTW, my carryon is always gate checked in/out of TUS

Emirates and Etihad has this feature for 3+ years now. They use a split gate with Business on one side and Econ on the other. The A380 has a Tri board system in DXB. This will not work in ATL due to the Gate space domestically. F Gates might.
