Default SkyWest Orders E175's ..Bye Bye CRJ-200/700...

Brazilian jet maker, Embraer received a firm order from SkyWest Inc. the holding company of SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines, for Embraer’s E175 jets.

SkyWest has booked a total of 7 E175 jets, which will be operated by SkyWest Airlines under a capacity purchase agreement with Alaska Airlines.
The order is valued at $301 million at list prices and deliveries are slated to begin in the second half of 2015.

This order brings Embraer’s firm order count from SkyWest to a total of 47 E175 jets. SkyWest had earlier placed an order for 100 E175 current generation E-jets in May 2013, out of which only 40 were firm orders.

Completely? I still see it running DEN-RKS as far out as July on UA's system. Maybe they haven't updated the schedule yet, but I'd be interested in seeing what they do on those thinner routes.

There are also 3 airports that SkyWest flies to that jets can not use, so those will have to be issued to a different carrier.

Just curious, do you know which airports those are? Perhaps I should invest in stock in Great Lakes. Nope, they'd still find a way to blow it.
