Planning to go next month, nay ideas or suggestions appreciated.
I read an article a few months ago that indicated that Colombia has the richest diversity of birds of any country in the world. You might try to find some birding areas or tours in some guidebooks.
I'd never really thought about going before I read that article. I always saw the country as drug ridden and crime ridden and particularly unsafe. I'm now giving it a second thought.

I hear Cali is great but they don't have the ice skating rinks over there. Go check out CUERNAVACA in Mexico.

Went to Isla del Rosario off the cost of Catrtagena, saw lots of colorful birds there,it was great!!!!!
Interesting, but to quote 29Palms, what happened to the
"One quiet and yet turbulent moment along the Andes, while sipping on some 100 percent Colombian Coffee..." part???

What do I see here? "KEEP US ON THE ROAD" responding a message ONE YEAR LATER? I thought this cat checked outa here for good. What's up "KEEP US ON THE ROAD"? Reaching rock bottom on the other internet forums out there? I kind of quit posting here myself here being this forum is very inactive.
