Lightbulb WN Testing New Boarding Alternative

In the ongoing quest to speed up the boarding process, WN is experimenting with pax boarding through both the forward and aft doors (air stairs). As you might suspect the experiment is being conducted in warm weather locales BUR/LGB/SMF/SJC.

Swimming upstream with open seating...what could possibly go wrong *wink*

Oh, my. I can't see how this would work well without assigned seating. I foresee definite issues with a)people not wanting to sit in the back and thus refusing to board from the rear and b)arguments on board over who got to a choice seat first.
