WN Turns Fifty!

Fifty years ago (June 18, 1971) Southwest (737-200) makes its first flight DAL-SAT, fares were $20 and the "stewardesses" wore "hot pants" and knee-high "go-go boots".

Well I talked to a few people and we came up with - Texas/country music/Willie Nelson :cool: maybe

Yea. My 1st flight was FAT-LAX in 86'. Then LAX -MDW

My first flight was TWA, ORD/LAX. They served a full hot meal with a choice of entrees - I had the steak..... coach was a lot different back in the day. :cool:

Not my very 1st flight..My SWA Flight. My very 1st was Eastern JFK - POS.
