Default Non-Rev on Saudi (IAD - JED)

    Hello,
A recent Nonrevver (hope I'm spelling that correctly) here, Its been just over a year working for an airline and boy o boy is it fun. I've done a few trip, mostly domestic US. Wanted to know and take advice from the experienced community about non-reving on Saudi Airlines. Will be doing this with my fam (wife & infant), and yes they are up for the challenge, specially the kid lol. I'm targeting direct flights so as to avoid the stress of checked in bags. so It could be from IAD, LAX or JFK.

    PS.
This is my very 1st post. And I'm looking forward on being a contributing member of this amazing community

    PEACE!
May you all have smooth flights!

Welcome aboard nonrev drkl3o, sounds like you got the traveling bug.
Since you done some domestic traveling you know non-revving requires preparation, being flexible and just plain lucky. And you’re no doubt aware that with your low seniority and three traveling together, sometimes options are limited. International travel with a group is tricky, but if you and the family are up for the adventure there are lots of members and a ZED Travel Correspondent here that can help you navigate the friendly skies.
Your seats are right down front.

Correspondents play a key role in the Non-Rev Forum. They are members that have volunteered to help their fellow members navigate the topsy-turvy world that is non-rev travel. They offer travel tips and advice, keep us updated on industry news and help members find that great/unique place to eat/drink/sleep in the area they live/visit often/ or have gotten stuck in overnight *wink*.

That's cool. So does anyone here have an experience with Saudia? like booking via Myidtravel, do we call them to list? how can we know whats our position on standby list? I've asked the reservation staff, they are unaware.

Your airline is always your first and best source of information. Look for ZED info on your employee travel site it will guide you through ticketing and listing.

Thanks for that! So my website just says book it and it'll automatically list you. (very reassuring lol) What i was looking for is someone's experience if they had with the airline as a non rev.
