Default Question about international through travel

    Hi,
l was listed as a D1 from Narita to DFW and was first on the list for the last seat in first class. When checking on the status of my seat assignment on the non rev travel planner, there suddenly appeared a D1T. How do you get to be a through on international flights, would it have been from a person flying from somewhere ZED to Narita then connecting to DFW?

    Thanks!
    Lisa

    Hi and welcome!
Yes, the D1T would be a nonrev travelling zed from an int'l or domestic Japan location. This happens a lot too departing LHR with many nonrevs connecting in LHR from BA. You have to see an agent to get D1T status and show them your inbound boarding pass. The agent will then modify your status to D1T. If you don't get F, hope you are lucky enough to get J!

One tip HND can save you, even if it is just to LAX, it did when I was stuck in NRT for two days (Never happened to me before in 20 years).
