    Default BA and LHR

    Hey BA!

I work for American Airlines and am looking to non-rev on your airline next week. I have never been on BA, so I was hoping someone could give me some good information.

First: Could you let me know the loads for these flights?

BA 288 PHX to LHR on Nov 5th and Nov 6th
    and
BA 55 and 57 from LHR to JNB on NOV 6th and Nov 7th

I'm not quite sure which day I am leaving just yet that's why I have two different dates.

Second: Do I have any chance of getting an upgrade to business or first? Is it better if I wear my work uniform so that I look more professional?

Third: How is getting around at LHR? Is there anything specific that I have to do as a non-rev at LHR?

Thanks for your help and any additional info you can give me about flying your airline would be awesome!!

I can answer your second question. Unless you have a ticketing agreement for F or J, and there are seats open, plan on Y. Anything else is a bonus. That's how pretty much every airline operates, even Delta, which upgrades their own employees free of charge.

    in answer to your questions:

    1) I'll send this via PM

    2) do not wear your uniform. BA frown on this unless you are on Duty or on way to/from Duty.
Previously you might have got an upgrade if Economy cabin was full but our masters have now decreed that even for BA staff if it says M on your ticket then thats where you travel even if it means upgrading a commercial pax on a cheapy ticket rather than the staff ( presumably as we are scum ) !!

    3) BA288 arrives in T3 and JNB flights depart from T5 so you will need to catch the free Train from the Cental area to T5.
You must list for the BA flights online and when you arrive at T5 you must check-in at the kiosks and if not seated immediately you will need to head to the Staff Travel area in Zone A to await closeout
