AA to MXP

Since we always let realtives use our "buddy passes" one of them gave us AA ff miles from JFK to MXP.
Awful service. Their 767's do not have individual air vents...very warm cabin.
They do not offer any free beer/wine in coach.
They do not walk up and down the aisles with water.
Nobody at the door as we left to say "thank you"..."good morning" etc.
We flew back from FCO to ATL on our carrier DL.
DL 767's have individual aur vents.
DL has free beer/wine in coach.
DL fa's walk up and down the aisles with water.
DL has a screen with lots of entertainment on every seat back.
DL fa's are in the cabin telling everybody "thanks for flying DL", etc.
No wonder AA is close to Chapter 7 or 11?

You know they all screw up at one time or another. I landed in the hospital due to Delta ground crew refusing me a wheelchair or preboarding when I had my 2 y.o Grson. That was a paid flight. Continental a few years ago on another paid ticket to Cozumel stranded me in cancun airport overnight..long story, they were suppossed to meet me and send me to a hotel because of some serious screw ups. I flew AA on miles to get home to Cozumel Mx last month and they were awesome with special service I did not expect. My best service has been on carriers of other countries, Korean Air, Luftansa, and Emerites.
