Default What is the difference between yield fare and a buddy pass.

Travelnet has changed and moved the way to check the buddy pass cost.
I was testing between MSP and CUN and it listed 2 fares.
The tax's were the same but the buddy pass cost more.
I don't have a clue what yield fare is but the buddy pass base fare is twice as much as the yield fare.

    Thanks.

The yield fare price is if you are single with a travel companion. The travel companion flies at the yield fare price.

The biggest difference now is the fuel surcharge added to BP but not to companion/non-dep yield fares.
