    Default Buddy Pass Pricing

Can someone please explain Buddy Pass pricing now. I understand it isacertain fee per segment? Plus so muchpermile? I am just trying to get an idea of what my Manila trip willrun in Januar. Will calculate the longestroute since I know darn well it is almost impossible to get into Narita fromAtlanta. Iwant topay for the worse scene, like having to go to LA or SEA to Nagoya...etc. I will be starting in Cozumel to Atlanta, laying over in Atlanta for 2 days medical..and then to Manila. I figure if I pay for the longest route I have the option of changing and not worrying about paying the difference.

Yes so its the buddy fare + $75 segment fee. $816 + $75 segment . However I heard through some managers at G.O. indicated that the segment fee might go away due to price of oil at 5 yr lows..

Great, Thank You. Did you get the $816 from the routing I gave you? Ouch on the segment fee, I thought it was $50..but awesome if it goes away by end of Jan.

Positive space = confirmed (normal) ticket. Sometimes you're not saving a whole lot on the buddy pass and it's worth it to just buy the ticket. We did that for my FIL when UA was looking a little questionable to go DEN-MSN at the end of this week. Turned out, Frontier cost the same as UA's extended family buddy pass, we just have to pay an extra $25 for a carry-on bag. And now he can stay with us until Saturday night, no hourly load checking and wondering when to send him home.

If scubabride2 wants flexibility, the BP is her ticket to MNL. If she buys pos space then she'll have change fees.
