Welcome aboard JimBob, always nice to see another AAer on the board. There’s a seat for you down front and the lounge is to the back. As I recall one of our members did a trip to Athens and (I think)went on to Santorini, do a quick search you should come up with something.

Hi, JB. Nice to have more of Migflanker's AAssociates in the house. Thought I'd let you know that DL to ATH is hardly ever avail except off season, so don't expect much here. I'd be looking @ LCC and flying into other cities, if AA has same issue as we do. Good luck!

When I went, I flew to LHR then BA to ATH. From ATH to Santorini, I took the fast ferry. Going back, took the ferry to Mykonos then bought a rev ticket back to ATH on Olympic. Spent all day trying to get to get to LHR or MAD and finally got the last middle seats on the last BA flight to LHR. I dropped my sunglasses somewhere running to the gate as you need a boarding pass to get thru security.

So you lost your glasses in ATH somewhere between security and the gate, not in LHR, and definitely not at JFK, T8, near gate 33……….just asking.

Just for info .. as of May 2017 BA will fly direct to Santorini from LHR

Unfortunately I realized as we were pushing back at ATH that they were no longer hanging on my shirt.

So you lost your sunglasses in ATH... whew - that was close.
