Hello, I am a registered travel companion right now for my mother because I am a non-dependant child, age 23. I am frustrated because it seems there are no ways around the regulations regarding travel companions.. even though they can fly without the employee in NWA, it seems there is no way that I can fly any OTHER airlines at a discount; ie: interline discount, Z-Fares, etc. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Usually only spouse/domestic partner/common law spouse and dependents under 21 gets benefits on other airlines.

    Hi Dori,

Yes you are correct in that you will not be able to travel other airlines as a registered partner on NWA.

I know it sucks in that I have 2 children both over the age of 23 and out of college and they are not able to fly on my flight benefits with the other airlines. At least you are able to travel as a registered partner, my children are unable to since I am married.
