    Default Indianapolis

Man, I'd like to be there now. Pretty exciting watching the Superbowl week thing on TV, lots of former NFL players, active players, superbowl players all converging in Indy for the big Superbowl Sunday. Also, American Legion is the main headquarters there. Would have been nice to check it all out. Maybe some other time.

I actually ended up there that weekend. Didn't have a ticket for the game, but tailgated and hung out by the stadium/Super Bowl Village till about midnight. It was pretty cool, I'd compare it to Times Square for New Years(though I've never done that)

It was pretty awesome working the ramp Superbowl weekend... first time I'd seen a pax 747 parked at the gate (Atlas, btw). Any ramp space not connected to the main terminals was packed with business jets, and the whole weekend... every few minutes one of those loud little buggers was landing or taking off. Who knows what famous people flew in on those... and how many charters there were. Even the GA airports had crowded ramps... must've been a great weekend for all our airports! In terms of air traffic and number of parked a/c... it reminded me a bit of Oshkosh.

You were here and did not say hello?
    Aha...I see how it is.
    jk

The city put on a great event and I am sure the Super Bowl will be back here in the future.

I did not see the Atlas 747 but saw the Atlas 767.
Delta flew the Pats team and families, so lots of 330s and 767s to BOS....

I'm not a very nice guy Actually I get to IND a few times/year. I'll give you a shout next time I'm out that yonder.

Normally I enjoy working in IND, but this trip was a Charlie Fox.

Yea, DL flew the Pats and UA flew the Giants. There was also a DL and NAO Military flight that Sunday.

Million miles is coming next week. I'll be on 3 continents this week..
