    Default Maui - 1 night accomodation ideas for family of 5?

    Our family of 5 might end up arriving a day early in Maui...Any ideas for a place to stay that first night? Does the Courtyard offer airline employee rates? Any ideas for upcountry? (It would be great to catch the sunrise that first morning and not have to drive all the way from Lahaina!) I'm not finding much for just one night (and 5 people). Who knows what will end up happening (what time, what airline, what route) but cross your fingers we get there (we usually don't have a problem). My boss would like you to cross your fingers that we can get back (that's our biggest challenge EVERY time).

    Have you looked at airbnb? Some owners will do short-term one day w/surcharge. Can't hurt to look. Also homeaway, apartmentsapart, VRBO. Look at trivago site for options--you'll have to do 2 rooms or fam room combo.
    Edit: As I recall, Delta has discounts for what used to be Outrigger hotels. I'd be looking at company travel discounts.

    Thanks mrs767er - I completely forgot about the Outrigger chain! And airbnb turned up one option that is still available. Woohoo!
