    Default Found Another Bargain!!

Well, I hit the big time with a mystery auction on luxurylink.com!! This time, 3 nights in Johannesburg at an Orient Express Hotel, The Westcliff, luxury room (I figured out the location before bidding)
Taxes and bfast, airport pickup on arrival. We also have a comp dinner (up to $100/person) massages and a bottle of wine. I prearranged to split the pkg two nts and one to connect easily to our flights and safari. The final few bids against me were a dollar here and there so I got tired of the cheap stuff and went for it. Price went from $265 to $266 to $267--the heck with THAT!! I punched it up to $330 and WHOOPPPPEEEE--it was mine! Their fee is only $40 and I had a gift certificate to apply which brought it down to $120!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I have to add their 4 night safari offering at Mkuze Falls and we're set for end of next month. Pick up some SAA Express ID tickets to the coast and get a car.
Trip report coming in the future...

    It only got BETTER!!!
I bought the Mkuze Falls pkg this morning 6am left coast time. No other bidders.
2 nts free-standing tented lodge+2 nts thatched chalet. Asked about current status of property and reply was tents were being re-fitted, etc and they would upgrade us to chalet for all 4 nts, about 30% more, no charge! Private plunge pool and outdoor shower under African skies!!
They sent me their wine list and are getting transfer offers so we may not have to drive 5+ hrs (yippee)
    All-inclusive except alc/wine and laundry.
3 meals, high tea, 2 games drive/day, escorts bush walks...

Now--if we can JUST get both ways on DL metal. (I have Plan B ready for Dubai tho)
Sorry if it sounds like bragging (not my intent--I want to share my enthusiasm ) but I just get so stoked!!

Those 6 A.M. auctions seem a little unfair to us late sleepers.

this was a rare timing situation--they are usually 3-6 pm PST
I think that since it's a repeated offer from LL, they vary the timing to suit more people in SA, EU, as well as the States.
I don't particularly care to wake w/alarm when Boss is gone but it worked fine! The 3 nt version is on auction today until 7am 26th.

A few minutes ago, I started the bidding on a familygetaway.com mystery auction for 2 nts/4pax in GUA at $1. Somebody needs to...
